Evolve brings improvements to the GT Series

Evolve took their GT Series back to the drawing board. Improving the GT Series to be more resistant and easier to convert. And new customers don’t even have to wait on these upgrades, as the improved boards have already been shipped silently!

The improvements are a warm welcome for Evolve World Cup participants as they race their Evolve boards to full capacity with maximum acceleration, top speeds and high G-force. See the list of improvements below.

Pro-Tec Belt Covers

The GT Series will now becoming assembled with the Pro-Tec belt covers installed. These will help to add increased protection to motor plates.

New bearings for easier wheel changes

New Evolve Speedball Bearings now have built-in spaced bearing races, eliminating the need for spacer tubes within the wheels and speed rings either side of the bearings. These will make wheel changes a lot easier and quicker both in the house and for customers, plus less chance for rattles.

Stronger motor plates

All new boards have stronger and durable motor plates, being made from 7075 alloys.

Same screws across the board

Screws on the boards have been changed. All board screws now use the same 1/8” size Allen key. Motor screws, carbon battery case screws, belt cover screws and motor controller screws have all been changed.

This will assist in reducing the number of tools required to work on the board, making it simpler to work on your Evolve board!

New rear struts

Rear struts now have an incorporated “spacer” moulded in the alloy casting. This eliminates the need for the large silver speed ring on the inside of the drive gear bearing.

New motors

All GT(X)’s now are coming with a new style for the motors with redesigned outer housings. The housings have no holes on the back end and have been redesigned to improve the motor housing connected with the motor shaft.
